Samsung Galaxy C7 – Another Feather in Samsung’s Cap

Samsung has launched many series to meet everyone’s budget and need requirements. Samsung Galaxy J is the low range series, A is the mid-range and Samsung Galaxy C is the upper mid-range series from Samsung. This series consists of Galaxy C5, C7, C7 Pro and C9 pro. Design and Display:

Samsung Galaxy C7 features a metallic body and comes with a 5.7-inch display with the dimensions of 156.6 (H) x 77.2 (W) x 6.7 (T) mm. You can see that the device is very thin. Samsung Galaxy C7 has an average weight of 165 grams. Samsung Galaxy C7 will be available in two colours – gold and pink.

Talking about the display, Galaxy C7 is a dual SIM device with large 5.7 inches’ display. The device lacks 2K display, which is present in high-range Galaxy S series. Galaxy C7 has a Full High Definition display with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The pixel density of the device is average with 386 PPI.Galaxy C7 uses Super AMOLED display and has a screen to body ratio of 73.92%.

About the physical appearance, it has the usual Samsung look. The device has a Samsung logo on both the side. Below the display lies the two invisible capacitive keys with back key on the right side. In the middle of these two capacitive keys lies the physical home button, which also acts as a fingerprint sensor. The area above the display has an 8 MP front camera which lacks front LED flash. The controls are similar to the Samsung devices with power button on the right side and volume rocker on the left side. There is also a hybrid dual Sim tray on the right side that is located below the power button. The back of the device is non-removable. There is a 16 MP primary camera at the back of the device, which features dual colour LED flash. The device supports quick charging, but lacks wireless charging. In addition, the device is not water resistant.

Performance:

The exact configuration of the device is not known. We donot know the type of processor that will be used, but it will definitely use Snapdragon processor. In addition, the device will have octa-cores and will run on 2 Ghz processor. Moreover, the device is powered by 4 GB RAM, which is abundant for heavy multitasking.

Software:

Samsung Galaxy C7 will not run on the latest Android Nougat(7.0) but will have Android Marshmallow(6.0.) out of the box. It will have its own TouchWizUI on top.

Camera:

Samsung uses great cameras for this device at both front and back. Samsung Galaxy C7 features a 16 MP primary camera with an aperture of 1.9. The device also has auto-focus mode, but lacks optical image stabilization. But the device has ditched simple LED flash and now uses dual colour LED flash.The maximum image resolution of Samsung Galaxy C7 is 4616 x 3464 Pixels. Samsung Galaxy C7 has video recording at 1920×1080 @ 30 fps.

The front camera of the device is also great and features an 8MP selfie camera for amazing selfies. However, the device lacks front LED flash.

Storage:

Samsung Galaxy C7 will not have a 16GB model, but will have 32GB internal memory. Also, the memory of the device is expandable via hybrid SIM slot up to 128 GB.

Battery:

Samsung Galaxy C7 comes with 3300 mAH battery which is Li- Polymer. It will easily last for a day, but the battery is non-removable. On the good side, the device supports quick charging.

Connectivity:

Samsung Galaxy C7 is a dual SIM device, which uses hybrid SIM slots. Samsung Galaxy C7 supports 4G in only one SIM and the other SIM slot supports only 2G. Samsung Galaxy C7 also supports NFC and uses GPS with A-GPS, Glonass. It lacks USB TYPE C port.

The price of Samsung Galaxy C7 is expected to be Rs28,990 in India.
